It’s Never Too Late!

Is your life making a difference or is it just passing you by?  Are you stuck and don’t know why or how to get out?  Are you comfortable and don’t want to change?  Remember, it is never too late to move out of your comfort zone to start making a difference.

Sometimes, we may not realize why we are stagnant in a certain area of our life.  I believe one of the reasons is a force that has permeated our culture, a spirit of fear.  Remember, God said in 2 Timothy 1:7, that He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.  Fear has played a big part in many people’s lives to keep them from God’s divine design.  Fear can take on many forms such as fear of failure, fear of success, and fear of man’s opinion.

I’ve noticed so many people are going back to school, stepping out into new careers, or writing that book they always wanted to do.  Unlock those creative juices and let them flow.  Break free from any and everything that is hindering you and stay free.  The Bible admonishes us in Galatians 5:1 to not get entangled in bondage again.  Don’t just dream about your future or watch what others are doing, but put your plan into action.

While studying to become a concert pianist, I lost that dream when my instructor moved to California.  I just didn’t seem to connect with anyone else and thought that it was something I shouldn’t pursue.  Although I continued to have a love to hear and see people play the piano, I was stuck until a person making a home delivery said, “If you just practice 15 minutes a day, you’ll restore that love.”

God will direct people to cross our path with what we need at the right moment. Let God use you to encourage others, and obey God today by stirring up the gift that is in you for His glory.

Abraham was 75 when he stepped into God’s will and Sarah was 90. It is never too late!
